Pearly Oyster Productions is an animation and design studio in London, England run by Emma Calder. The studio produces short animated films for TV and cinema, animated commercials, pop videos and title sequences. As well as illustrated books for Adults and Children.

Pearly Oyster's award winning films include 'The Kings of Siam' and 'The Queen's Monastery'.

Amongst current projects, Emma is currently writing, designing and illustrating two books. 'Paper Angels' A children's activity and story book for Bloomsberry, publication date: October 4th 2010.

'Emma Calder's Moody Days Sticker Book', A large sticker book with additional illustrations and writing, will be published March 8th 2010 by Thames and Hudson.

Her first picture book for children Miss Louise goes to Paris, written by Carolyn Hink, was published recently by Quercus Books.

The strength of Emma's work is her flair for writing, a fearless approach to comedy and boundless enthusiasm for design and storytelling.
